this is a six track debut EP from one man band of the 21 century Jerry Afraid. "These hearts will break" is 6 songs of glitchy avant garde electronic weirdness. The tracks blend influences from the Warp back catalogue and ‘Amnesiac’ period Radiohead gaffer taped together by Jerrys distant and discordant 'other room in another world' vocals
Self recorded and produced the EP is Jerrys dark solitary vision of 21st century Britain....and its a desolate place. The music is as far from the open mic scene which spawed it as a Tory MPs earnings are from the minimum wage.
Its innovative but not pretentious its probably one of the most singular works of music you will hear this year.
